How can we better support the different ways people think and work within our teams?

In this latest episode, I’m joined by Sydney psychiatrist and neuropsychiatrist Dr Clinton White, and together we turn our attention to ADHD.

We explore what ADHD actually means in a workplace context, why it is often misunderstood, and how the traits associated with ADHD can be powerful strengths when the environment allows them to be used well.

We also discuss some of the common misconceptions about ADHD at work, and what leaders and team members can do to create conditions where people with different thinking styles can do their best work.

Throughout the conversation we reflect on the importance of clarity, context, flexibility and psychological safety, and how thoughtful adjustments in how we work together can make a meaningful difference for individuals and teams.
